For appointments outside the M25 circle and Greater London, we have £60 pounds surcharge for the initial treatment. An inspection only, outside London, costs £100 pounds total.

The process
Before we send out one of our pest control operators (PCOs) we always ask the customer to prepare the property. We have successfully treated various types of vehicles and lots of businesses in the hospitality and transport industries. In all cases we individually tailor our advice but there are three main steps to follow, especially in domestic cases of bed bug infestation. After the preparations we inspect, risk assess and usually treat on the same visit the whole property with all the furniture there, even if it is not affected. Our bed bug hunters strictly follow the best practices and are always ready to perform a treatment with the best active ingredients for professional-use-only, as well as the most effective integrated heat methods, such as the dry steam.
The first part of the preparations includes removing all storage from the floor level in the bedrooms or sleeping area, sitting and living areas too. The items that have been under the beds, for example, should be inspected visually making sure that there are no signs on the bed bugs before moving them in plastic bags or boxes, ideally. The bed bugs do not tend to crawl up and hide in clothes, as they cannot go through the fabrics and prefer wooden cracks and crevices, cardboard and paper stuff. Hanging clothes, upper and top shelves, upper drawers should not be affected, unless commercial sprays or smoke bombs have been used.
The next preparation procedure is the hot wash of the bedding – the sheets and cases only, not the pillows and duvet/blanket on 60 degrees Celsius. Delicate clothes and fabrics that cannot be hot-washed could be inspected and shaken thoroughly somewhere safe, although it is very unlikely that the bed bugs are hiding there. The last step is a thorough vacuum cleaning of the whole floor in the property, soft and wooden furniture too. The vacuum contents have to be sealed and disposed of in a safe manner afterwards. As soon as the property is prepared and ready to be inspected, we send out our technician to carry out and inspection, risk assessment and potential treatment.
We use the most effective integrated methods with our bed bug treatments, including instant extermination methods such as heat with hot air or dry steam, as well as long-lasting residual spray. The heat and spray with professional-use-only active ingredients is possibly the best approach towards a complete bed bug eradication with less treatments. Those methods and tools, combined with the knowledge, experience and effort that our technicians put in completion of the process, produce high success rates of bed bug removal with 1-2 treatments, in most cases.
